Who is Krista Kokjohn-Poehler?
Krista Kokjohn-Poehler is dedicated to sharing her mom’s “You Are Love” story and storytelling methods in hopes that their impact on others will be as positive and beneficial as they were in shaping Krista’s own life and sense of self.

Inspiration
As the book shares, the main idea/gift/story originates from the author's mom, Francie Meyer, who found a unique way to share the wisdom brought to her by many teachings. Prior to the author’s birth and after, Francie was engaging with several sources. They are listed below with some of the most influential quotes pictured.

I too have been influenced by several sources which are quoted, listed, or drawn below.
Influences
Course in Miracles
Foundation for Inner Peace
This course is based on the original handwritten notes of Helen Schucman and is a foundational text for many books that followed. It is a spiritual self-study course for retraining the mind, its aim being a peaceful mind. The most influential parts for Francie and Krista have been “Teach only love for that is what you are” and “the Illusion of Separation.” If we are not separate, then how we show up with others is, in fact, deeply impactful on how we personally experience the world. In addition, the author was influenced by the generous copyright guidelines that demonstrate the publisher’s intention to spread the teachings freely.
The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success
Deepak Chopra
Krista picked up The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success from her mom’s bookshelf near the end of finishing her book. It was her first time reading Chopra though of course she knew his name. When Krista read the quote that is included in Raising Amazing Humans and pictured, she was deeply moved because it was the first example of another parent telling a consistent and intentional story to their children that she had come across. Krista looks forward to being introduced to many more people and their stories through the sharing of her mom’s message.
Love is Letting Go of Fear
Gerald G. Jampolski, M.D.
Francie was attracted to this book for the simple and visual way it shared the concepts of Course in Miracles. Krista wanted to create a similar representation of her mom’s story and their ideas. We are overwhelmed by mass amounts of information on a daily basis which means most of us will miss key teachings. Love is Letting Go of Fear delivers an easily digestible “how to” manual for those interested in personal transformation. It will remain on Krista’s nightstand forever as a daily reference.
Conversations with God Series
Neale Donald Walsch
Krista’s parents gave this book series to everyone they knew over the course of many years. It was the first book Krista read that matched how she envisioned God’s relationship with humankind. She still reads it nightly to keep herself grounded in her core values and beliefs.
